Yashasvi Jaiswal Powers to Seventh Test Century Against West Indies. Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal stole the spotlight with a scintillating batting display during the second Test between India and the West Indies on Friday, October 10. The left-handed batsman notched up his seventh century in Test cricket at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

After winning the toss, Indian captain Shubman Gill elected to bat first, retaining the same playing XI as in the previous match. KL Rahul showed promise with the bat but was dismissed for 38 by spinner Jomel Warrican in the first session.

Jaiswal, however, carried on with his aggressive stroke play, building on an opening partnership of 58 with Rahul. The left-hander reached his century in the 51st over, celebrating the milestone by removing his helmet and blowing kisses to the cheering crowd.
