Rishabh Pant posts motivational update amid foot injury. Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant<\/a> shared an update on his recovery after suffering a foot fracture during the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pant was struck on the foot by Chris Woakes\u2019 delivery while batting in the fourth Test at Manchester. The injury ruled him out of the fifth Test at The Oval. Despite this setback, the left-hander had an impressive series, scoring 479 runs in seven innings, including two centuries and three half-centuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remarkably, Pant batted in the first innings of the Manchester Test despite the injury, earning a standing ovation from the crowd for his courage. In the fifth Test, he was replaced by Dhruv Jurel in the playing XI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cJust wanna tell you one thing I\u2019ve realized \u2014 no matter how much pain you\u2019ve endured in the past, if you get hurt again, it hurts the same. The only difference is your threshold goes up, and you understand the process of pushing yourself forward,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added, \u201cStaying positive is huge. Motivating yourself works wonders. Keep trusting yourself and working toward the life you want, because what doesn\u2019t kill you makes you stronger in the end.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rishabh Pant is currently ruled out of Asia Cup 2025 due to his injury but is expected to return ahead of India\u2019s home Test series against the West Indies in October. <\/a>Under captain Suryakumar Yadav, the Indian team will compete in the Asia Cup in September. In May, Rishabh Pant was appointed India\u2019s new Test vice-captain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
