Harbhajan Singh recalled how the young girl refused to speak to him despite his affectionate approach.
\u201cWhat hurt me the most was when I met his daughter after many years. I was speaking to her lovingly, but she said, \u2018I don\u2019t want to talk to you. You hit my father.\u2019 That broke my heart. I was almost in tears,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He continued, \u201cI kept questioning myself\u2014what impression have I left on her? In her eyes, I\u2019m the man who hurt her father. That thought crushed me. I still apologise to her, though I know I can\u2019t change the past.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harbhajan added, \u201cI just hope that as she grows older, she doesn\u2019t carry that image of me. I want her to see me as someone who\u2019ll always be there for her, someone who genuinely cares. That\u2019s why I want to erase that chapter from our lives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
