BJP leader and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia’s son and Gwalior Division Cricket Association Vice President Mahanaryaman Scindia has been elected as the President of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) today on 1 September without any opposition. Also, the 29-year-old member of the Gwalior royal family has now become the youngest president of MPCA.

It is worth noting that the MPCA was founded in 1957 by the Scindia royal family, after which the third generation of this royal family will now be seen chairing the cricket board. MPCA Chief Administrative Officer Rohit Pandit confirmed that all the posts were filled unopposed in the elections.
The newly elected executive will formally take charge during the annual general meeting of the association on Tuesday, after which the office bearers will take charge. Also, let us tell you that before this Mahaaryaman’s father Jyotiraditya Scindia has also been the President of MPCA.
Also talking about the newly elected members elected in MPCA, Vineet Sethia has been made Vice President, Sudhir Asnani Secretary, Arundhati Kherkire Joint Secretary and Sanjeev Dua Treasurer. Along with them, Sandhya Agarwal, Prasun Kanamdikar, Rajiv Risodkar and Vijesh Rana have been elected as members of the committee, while the cricket committee includes Pradeep Banerjee, Ramnik Patel and Abhay Laghate.
