The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has updated the match timings for the 2025 Asia Cup. Out of 19 fixtures, 18 matches will now begin at 8:00 PM IST (6:30 PM GST). The only exception is the UAE vs Oman match on 15 September, which will start at 5:30 PM IST (4:00 PM GST) at the Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Asia Cup 2025 Match Timings Revised

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has updated the schedule for the DP World Asia Cup 2025 in the UAE, running from September 9 to 28. Out of 19 matches, 18 will now start at 6:30 PM Gulf Standard Time (8:00 PM IST). The only exception is the Monday, September 15 clash between UAE and Oman at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi, which will begin at 4:00 PM GST (5:30 PM IST) as the tournament’s sole day match. All other games will be played under lights.
Why the revised schedule of the Asia Cup 2025?

The revised Asia Cup 2025 schedule, coordinated with broadcasters and venue partners, aims to avoid Dubai’s intense daytime heat while maximising primetime viewership across South Asia. Evening games also offer a more fan-friendly stadium experience during cooler Gulf hours. Beyond regional supremacy, the tournament will serve as key preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, making every match crucial.
