Heated Clash Erupts in Delhi Premier League(DPL) 2025 Eliminator

Tempers flared during the Delhi Premier League(DPL) 2025 Eliminator between South Delhi Superstarz and West Delhi Lions at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Friday, as a brawl-like situation unfolded on the field. The incident occurred following the dismissal of West Delhi Lions’ opener Krish Yadav off Aman Bharti’s bowling in the 11th over, while chasing 202.
DPL 2025: Krish attempted a six off the first ball of the over but was caught by Anmol Sharma near the boundary rope. The wicket sparked a heated exchange, with players from both sides shoving and shouting at each other.
South Delhi’s Sumit Mathur charged towards Krish, escalating the situation further. West Delhi captain Nitish Rana, along with on-field umpires, intervened to calm the chaos. The lady umpire asked Krish to leave the field, while Rana separated Sumit and the dismissed batter by placing his arm around Sumit’s shoulder, bringing the confrontation under control.
