In the third Youth ODI held on Wednesday (2nd July) at the County Ground in Northampton, the Indian opener delivered a breathtaking performance, guiding his team to a convincing win. Suryavanshi smashed a blistering 86 off just 31 balls, peppering the ground with six fours and nine towering sixes. His explosive innings came at an astonishing strike rate of 277.42.

Earlier, India U-19 won the toss and chose to bowl first. England’s openers BJ Dawkins (62) and Isaac Mohammed (41) laid a solid foundation with a 78-run partnership. Skipper Thomas Rew later anchored the innings with an unbeaten 76, taking England to a competitive total of 268/6.

India’s bowling effort was led by Kanishk Chouhan, who claimed three wickets. Deepesh Devendran, Vihaan Malhotra, and Naman Pushpak also contributed with one wicket each.
