Dubai International Cricket Stadium to Host India vs Pakistan, Asia Cup 2025 Final. The Indian and Pakistan cricket teams are clashing in the Asia Cup 2025 final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 28. This marks the third encounter between the two sides in the tournament and their first-ever meeting in an Asia Cup final.
Asia Cup: Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and chose to bowl first. During the toss, he confirmed that India have made three changes to their playing XI. All-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out due to a niggle; he experienced cramps during India’s last Super Four match against Sri Lanka and had to leave the field after bowling just one over.
Alongside Pandya, pacers Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana were also left out. Jasprit Bumrah, Shivam Dube, and Rinku Singh have been brought into the XI as their replacements. On the other hand, Pakistan captain Salman Agha confirmed that his team has made no changes from their previous game.

Backing his decision to bowl first in the final, captain Suryakumar Yadav said, “We are looking to bowl first. It looks like a good wicket, and it tends to get better under lights. While we have been successful batting first in previous games, today we would like to chase. The groundsmen have done a terrific job preparing the pitch, and we expect it to play the same throughout the match. The brand of cricket we’ve played over the last 5-6 games has been solid, and we aim to continue that.”
Suryakumar Yadav’s side remains unbeaten in the tournament. After losing to India in their opening Super Four match, Pakistan bounced back strongly, defeating Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to secure their place in the final.
