India will face UAE in their opening match of the Asia Cup 2025 on September 10. The Indian cricket team is gearing up for the tournament, which kicks off on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to Revsportz, the Suryakumar Yadav-led squad will arrive in Dubai on September 4 and begin their first practice session on September 5.
Reports also indicate that Pakistan will hold five practice sessions and two practice matches ahead of their T20I Tri-Series and Asia Cup 2025. Their practice games are scheduled for August 22 and 25 in Dubai.

From August 29 to September 7, they will participate in a T20I Tri-Series against Afghanistan and the UAE. Asia Cup 2025 features eight teams: Group A includes India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman, while Group B consists of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong.
India to Kick Off Asia Cup 2025 on September 10

India will begin their Asia Cup 2025 campaign against the UAE on September 10 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Following this, the Men in Blue will face their arch-rivals Pakistan on September 14 in Dubai. Their final group-stage match is scheduled against Oman on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.
India enter the tournament as the defending champions. On August 19, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 15-member squad for the Asia Cup, with Suryakumar Yadav named as captain.
Senior stars including Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Shubman Gill, and Kuldeep Yadav are part of the squad, while notable players such as Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Siraj, and Yashasvi Jaiswal missed out.
Pakistan has named a 17-member squad led by Salman Ali Agha. The tournament’s final will be held in Dubai on September 28, with Dubai and Abu Dhabi serving as the two host venues.
