The venues for the six white-ball matches between England and Sri Lanka will be confirmed at a later date. As part of their preparations for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, England’s men’s cricket team, led by captain Harry Brook, will tour Sri Lanka for a white-ball series in early 2026.
The T20I series holds extra significance for England, as it provides vital practice ahead of the T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka. England, winners in 2010 and 2022, were defeated by India in the semi-finals of the last tournament. This time, the Three Lions are aiming to claim a record-breaking third title.
T20 World Cup: England last toured Sri Lanka in January 2021, winning a two-match Test series 2-0. Later, in September 2026, Sri Lanka will visit England for a series comprising three ODIs and three T20Is, setting up the teams’ next clash on English soil.
