ENG vs IND 2025: After a thrilling performance during the Lord’s Test, the Indian cricket team took a day off and during their special visit to St James’ Palace, they met King Charles III. India are currently playing a five-match Test series against England and suffered a disappointing 22-run defeat in the third Test match played at Lord’s on Monday. Hosts England have taken a 2-1 lead in the series.

ENG vs IND 2025: On meeting King Charles III, Team India captain Shubman Gill said, “It was great to meet King Charles III and he showed great generosity by inviting us here. We had a great conversation. King Charles III told us that the way our last batsman got out in the last Test match was very unfortunate, we told him that it was an unfortunate match for us and the result could have gone either way. Hopefully we will have good luck in the next two matches.”

India’s batting was very poor on the last day and by lunch, they were reduced from 58/4 to 112/8. India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja continued to struggle bravely. He hit a brilliant half-century and got great support from Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.

England captain Ben Stokes, along with Jofra Archer, bowled the best for the hosts by taking three wickets each. Brydon Carse took two wickets, while Chris Woakes and Bashir got one wicket each. The fourth Test between India and England will be played at Old Trafford in Manchester and will start from July 23.

Apart from the Indian men’s cricket team, the women’s team was also present there, their England tour has been great so far, as they won the 5-match T20 series against England 3-2, and now they are looking forward to the ODI series starting from July 16.
